Celebrity Cruises is bringing a sweeping redesign to one of the most beloved ships in its fleet.
The line has unveiled a reimagined Celebrity Reflection, introducing 13 new venues and experiences as part of its ongoing fleet modernization program. The ship becomes the second Solstice Series vessel to receive the extensive overhaul, following the transformation of Celebrity Solstice.
The refreshed ship will continue sailing year-round in the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, with itineraries ranging from three- and four-night getaways to The Bahamas and Key West to longer voyages calling in destinations including Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Grand Cayman and Turks and Caicos.
If you’re planning a Caribbean cruise in 2027, the changes mean you’ll find an experience that feels much closer to the line’s newer Edge Series ships.
A New Centerpiece for the Ship
The biggest transformation comes in the heart of Celebrity Reflection.
The ship is adding a dramatic new Grand Plaza, inspired by the design first introduced on the Edge Series. The three-story venue will become the social hub of the ship, anchored by a redesigned Martini Bar beneath a suspended chandelier that will serve as the backdrop for nightly light shows, live music and entertainment.
The addition represents one of the most significant changes to the ship’s interior since it first entered service.
“With Celebrity Reflection, we’re evolving the guest experience in meaningful ways — introducing 13 new spacesdesigned to help guests relax, explore and connect,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises, in a statement.
A Completely New Pool Deck
If you spend most of your cruise by the pool, you’ll notice some of the biggest changes outdoors.
The redesigned Celebrity Pool Club has been rebuilt with expanded seating, additional shaded areas, plush daybeds and two dedicated bars, creating a more resort-style atmosphere.
The pool deck is also gaining two entirely new casual dining concepts.
The first is Orange Peel Bar & Grille, serving smashburgers, grilled favorites and frozen cocktails just steps from the pool.
The second is Tacos del Sol, an open-air taco venue centered on build-your-own tacos with fresh toppings and Mexican-inspired flavors.
Together, the additions give guests more dining options without leaving the pool deck.
More Places to Spend the Evening
Several entirely new entertainment venues are also joining the ship.
The Boulevard Lounge, first introduced on the renewed Celebrity Solstice, brings a flexible entertainment space with dueling pianos, karaoke, trivia, live performances and interactive shows throughout the day and evening.
Next door, the new Boulevard Bar will serve handcrafted cocktails before and after performances.
Another addition is The Parlor, a sports and gaming lounge featuring billiards, darts, classic board games and oversized televisions showing live sporting events. The venue will also offer craft cocktails, shareable plates and elaborate milkshakes.
The additions reflect a broader effort to create more places for guests to gather beyond the traditional theater and lounges.
A New Outdoor Escape
The ship’s top deck is also getting an entirely new personality.
The new Sunset Park transforms the upper deck into an outdoor green space where guests can spend the day enjoying lawn games, meditation sessions, outdoor movies, live music and panoramic Caribbean views.
Private cabanas will also be available, complete with dedicated attendants.
You’ll also find the new Sunset Park Café, serving breakfast and lunch, along with an expanded Sunset Bar overlooking the sea.
It’s another example of how Celebrity Cruises is borrowing ideas from its newer ships while creating more outdoor gathering spaces throughout the vessel.
Three New Restaurants
Dining is another major part of the transformation.
Among the additions is Trattoria Rossa, an intimate Italian restaurant serving Roman-inspired cuisine, house-made pasta and tableside preparations. The restaurant first debuted on the redesigned Celebrity Solstice earlier this year.
The acclaimed Fine Cut Steakhouse, one of the signature restaurants on the Edge Series, is also joining Celebrity Reflection. The venue specializes in 30-day dry-aged steaks, seafood and an upscale steakhouse experience.
Completing the trio is Bora, the rooftop Mediterranean restaurant that first debuted on Celebrity Xcel. During the day, the venue focuses on brunch and customizable cocktails. In the evening, it transitions to a dinner concept featuring chef-led tableside presentations and Mediterranean-inspired sharing plates.
Together, the restaurants represent one of the biggest expansions of specialty dining ever added to a Solstice Series ship.
Enhancements Throughout the Ship
The modernization extends well beyond the new venues.
Guests staying in The Retreat suites will find a redesigned Retreat Lounge and an upgraded Retreat Sundeck featuring a larger hot tub.
Several returning venues are also receiving updates, including Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, World Class Bar, the Fitness Center, Camp at Sea, the Casino, Passport Bar, the Art Gallery and the ship’s existing pool and cocktail venues.
The work continues Celebrity Cruises’ broader investment in modernizing older ships while bringing design elements and experiences first introduced aboard the line’s newest vessels across more of the fleet.
Sailing the Caribbean Year-Round
The newly redesigned Celebrity Reflection will continue sailing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, one of the cruise line’s busiest homeports.
If you’re looking for a quick Caribbean escape, you’ll find three- and four-night cruises to Key West and The Bahamas.
Longer itineraries include six- and eight-night voyages calling in destinations including Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Grand Cayman and Turks and Caicos, giving travelers access to some of the southern and western Caribbean’s most popular ports.
The ship will also host the 2027 President’s Cruise, sailing May 10-14, 2027.
If you’ve sailed Celebrity Reflection before, you’ll recognize the ship’s familiar layout. Much of what you’ll experience onboard, however, will be entirely new, from the redesigned public spaces and expanded outdoor areas to a collection of restaurants and lounges drawn from some of Celebrity Cruises’ newest and most popular ships.
