Cardi B admitted on an X Spaces session on July 22 that her taste in men isn’t perfect, and the situation surrounding her newest rumored link-up is already proving her right.
“Could I pick better men? Probably. Maybe. So, whatever,” she said, laughing it off before making it clear she’s not interested in staying single to satisfy her critics.
Cardi B said she’d been single throughout her entire “Little Miss Drama” tour, adding that she “slipped up, went back to some b#######, left right away,” a comment that appeared aimed at her on-and-off situation with Stefon Diggs earlier this year.
The newest name in her orbit is Maduka Okoye, a 26-year-old Nigerian-German goalkeeper who plays for Udinese Calcio in Italy’s Serie A.
The two were first spotted together at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week in early July when Okoye helped Cardi into her seat and handed her a fan. A clip of that moment went viral, sending fans into full detective mode.
They showed up together again July 19 at Gio’s restaurant inside the St. Regis in Venice, where they sat side by side at a table overlooking the canal with a group of friends, no PDA but visibly comfortable with each other.
Neither has confirmed they’re dating.

The Venice sighting barely had time to cool before Okoye’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child, Dutch model Jelicia Westhoff, lit up Instagram with a string of explosive allegations.
As AllHipHop reported, Westhoff wrote that Okoye beat her, neglected their 3-year-old son Isaiah and hid his sexuality.
“I made you! No one knew who you was,” she posted. “And instead of loving us, you beat me, cheated on me with men and women.” She went further: “You was cheating on me with everything… I found out that you liked both sides. Let’s also be open about your sexuality.”
Westhoff said Isaiah was hospitalized four times in December 2025 and put in intensive care while Okoye never visited. Okoye has not responded to any of it.
This pattern with messy men isn’t new for Cardi B. She married Migos rapper Offset in September 2017, and the relationship lurched through cheating scandals, a 2020 divorce filing she later walked back, and a final split when she re-filed in July 2024 after giving birth to their third child, daughter Blossom.
After that came Diggs, the New England Patriots wide receiver she went public with in 2025 and welcomed a son with in November of that year. That relationship crumbled after the Super Bowl in February 2026 when Cardi publicly confirmed it was over during her tour.
She named her 2025 album Am I the Drama? but the men in her orbit keep answering that question for her.
Offset caught a felony assault charge in March 2025 after allegedly punching a security guard at a MedMen cannabis dispensary near LAX, then got shot outside a Florida casino in April 2026 in a confrontation tied to rapper Lil Tjay.
A judge gave Offset a diversion deal on July 15, allowing the misdemeanor charge to be dismissed if he completes 50 hours of community service, anger management and 12 months of probation without incident.
Diggs came with his own courtroom drama.
His former private chef Mila Adams accused him of slapping and choking her during a pay dispute at his Dedham, Massachusetts home in December 2025.
He was arraigned in February 2026 on a felony strangulation charge and a misdemeanor assault count, pleaded not guilty and walked out of court a free man on May 5 when a Massachusetts jury acquitted him on all charges.
The criminal case is closed, but the legal calendar is still full.
Influencer Christopher Blake Griffith filed a civil suit accusing Diggs of drugging him and making unwanted sexual advances at his Maryland home in May 2023.
Diggs denied everything and countersued Griffith for defamation. Griffith settled a separate $10 million lawsuit against Diggs’ brother Darez on July 11, but his civil case against Stefon remains active with no trial date set as of today.
