ST JAMES, Jamaica — A man is believed to have drowned in Lethe, St James.
The St James police and members of the Jamaica Fire Brigade are now on the scene trying to recover the body of the deceased man.
The body is currently in the middle of the river, lodged between some stones, which has prevented the body from moving further downstream despite the river being quite shallow.
The identity of the man has not yet been ascertained but has been described as having dreadlocked hair.
Reports are that the man is not from the community but has been frequenting the space for some time.
