Trippie Redd just dragged a very private parenting dispute into the social media world, claiming Coi Leray is preventing him from seeing their daughter, Miyoco.
And this one already feels bigger than your standard celebrity social media squabble.
Trippie hopped on X and made a pretty explosive allegation about his former girlfriend and the mother of his child.
“Tell that b*tch to tell yall she won’t let me see my baby,” he wrote.
That statement immediately changed the temperature around whatever has been happening behind the scenes. Apparently, Trippie has heard enough chatter suggesting he simply does not want to be involved in his daughter’s life.
He followed up with another message.
“So it’s I don’t wanna see my kid…then when I say I’m kept from seeing my kid it’s y u telling us 🤣 leave me tf alone and yes I’ve been going to court.”
That last part is important.
Let’s assume Trippie is indeed pursuing the matter through family court, there may be considerably more happening privately. We cannot say for sure. Neither artist has revealed much publicly. Of course, we only have Trippie’s version right now, so there is another side to this story. Coi’s side definitely matters. Come on Coi, give us some more distractions from our terrible lives.
Their relationship has already experienced enough twists for three seasons of television. Trippie and Coi originally dated in 2019 then separated. They rekindled their love in August 2024. That reunion did not last.
The couple split again in early 2025, but by then…Coi was pregnant. She accused Trippie of cheating during her pregnancy and it all went south then. Coi welcomed Miyoco in June of that year
Now the relationship drama has apparently migrated into something far more serious: parenting and courts.
Nobody wins when children are in the middle of public spats between parents. And that is private or public. Trippie clearly wants people to know that he wants to be with his baby. Could it be fake or manufactured? Maybe. I don’t think it is. Whether Coi responds remains to be seen.
But if courts are already involved…we will see.
