Did Chrisean Rock just take her boxing career to the streets?
Man, I don’t even know where to start with this one.
Just when you think the Blueface and Chrisean Rock saga has finally run out of plot twists, these two somehow find another level. And this time, Chrisean apparently decided she didn’t need a boxing ring, judges or a referee.
A video circulating online appears to show Chrisean squaring up with another woman in the street and throwing hands, while Blueface is right there watching the whole thing unfold.
And if you have seen Chrisean fight before, you already know she’s not exactly unfamiliar with this particular form of conflict resolution.
But there’s something different now.
Chrisean is technically a boxer!
Remember, Chrisean made her boxing debut earlier this year and defeated Zenith Zion by split decision at the XRumble event in Pennsylvania. I was actually there doing commentary, and whatever you think about her technique, Chrisean is a legitimate athlete. She’s strong, explosive and definitely not somebody I’d recommend challenging to an impromptu street fight.
Apparently somebody didn’t get that memo.
In the footage making the rounds, Chrisean appears to get the better of the woman as Blueface stands nearby watching the chaos. Reports have described him as encouraging the confrontation, although these viral clips don’t always provide enough context to know exactly what happened before somebody started swinging.
But here’s where this story gets even crazier.
Blueface And Chrisean Are Back Together…Again?
The street fight apparently came during a chaotic weekend involving Blueface, Chrisean and his pregnant girlfriend, Nevaeh Akira.
According to reports circulating online, Chrisean showed up at Nevaeh’s baby shower, creating an extremely tense situation. Things allegedly escalated to the point where Nevaeh pulled a knife during a confrontation with Blueface.
Eventually, things cooled down.
Or at least we thought they did.
Because Blueface reportedly wound up leaving and going out with Chrisean.
Bruh.
At this point, somebody needs to create a relationship flowchart because I cannot keep up.
Blueface and Chrisean have one of the most publicly dysfunctional relationships we’ve ever witnessed in Hip-Hop. We’ve seen breakups, reunions, arrests, fights, social-media wars, parenting drama and everything else imaginable.
And somehow, here we are again.
Together.
In the streets.
With somebody fighting.
Then Things Allegedly Got Even More Serious
Unfortunately, the story doesn’t end with Chrisean’s fight.
Reports surrounding the evening claim another confrontation later erupted involving people around Blueface, with gunshots allegedly fired during the chaos. Some online reports claimed multiple shots could be heard and that police eventually responded.
I want to be careful here.
What we can say is that the footage and reports from this situation paint an increasingly disturbing picture.
And that’s where the jokes stop.
Chrisean Rock has an opportunity right now that many people never get.
She stepped into a legitimate boxing environment earlier this year and showed that she has real athletic potential. With proper training, discipline and the right people around her, there may actually be something there.
But boxing in a ring and fighting in the street are two completely different things.
One can become a career.
The other can become a case.
That’s the part nobody should overlook.
If Chrisean really wants to pursue boxing, then every person around her should be telling her the same thing: save it for the ring.
There are promoters who will literally pay you to fight now!
Why risk everything for free?
And as for Blueface and Chrisean being back around each other?
We’ve seen this movie before.
Actually, we’ve seen about six sequels.
I just hope this one doesn’t end worse than the others.
