56-year-old Portland woman charged over alleged church break-in

A 56-year-old Portland woman has been charged for allegedly breaking into a church and stealing items. She is Jane Brown, a vendor of Stony Hill in Ranza, who is charged with sacrilege and receiving stolen property. Brown was arrested following an investigation into the theft of two speakers valued at approximately $80,000. Reports from the Port Antonio police are that at about 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18, a man securely locked the church before leaving.
