Update | Portmore woman accused of making false house break-in report to get grant remanded

The Portmore, St Catherine, woman charged for allegedly making a false robbery report to the police in an attempt to obtain money was remanded when she appeared in the St Catherine Parish Court on Friday. The accused, 44-year-old Tanesha Wright, an office assistant of Greater Portmore, is charged with obtaining money by means of false pretence and forgery with intent to deceive. When Wright appeared before Parish Court Judge Genetta Smikle, she was ordered to be remanded until September 27.
