British Travelers Are Skipping Saint Lucia. So Where Are They Looking Now?

Saint Lucia saw a 21 percent decline in visitors from the UK in the first quarter, the biggest of any destination in the region, according to data from the Caribbean Tourism Organization. 

It’s part of a continued trend, following cuts to major air routes to Saint Lucia last year: by Virgin Atlantic, which stopped its direct service from London Heathrow in March of last year, and TUI, which stopped flying from Gatwick at the end of May in 2025.
