KINGSTON, Jamaica—The police are advising the motoring public that Hagley Park Road in St Andrew is currently closed due to a fire that engulfed the Superior Parts dealership Thursday afternoon with subsequent cooling-down exercise being conducted by firefighters.
The police are urging motorists to use alternative routes where possible and to expect delays when travelling in the area.
Motorists travelling westward from Half-Way Tree are being diverted onto Omara Road.
Meanwhile, motorists travelling eastward towards Half-Way Tree and Hagley Park Road are being redirected onto Waltham Park Road.
The public is encouraged to exercise caution and follow the instructions of the police and other emergency personnel operating in the area.
