Cancun is getting a new adults-only all-inclusive with 429 suites, two rooftop pools, seven restaurants, nine bars, and ocean views from 97 percent of its accommodations.
Amàre Cancún Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton is now accepting reservations for stays beginning Oct. 31, marking the first Amàre resort in the Americas.
The beachfront property will open along Boulevard Kukulcán in Cancun’s Hotel Zone, about 30 minutes from Cancun International Airport, with a 20-story main tower, a six-story secondary tower, rooftop pools overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Nichupté Lagoon, and nearly 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event areas.
The resort is owned and managed by Fuerte Group Hotels, the Spanish company behind Amàre, and will participate in Hilton Honors through its Curio by Hilton affiliation.
Amàre already operates adults-only hotels in Ibiza, Marbella, and Sancti Petri. Cancun will bring the brand to the Americas for the first time, pairing its Mediterranean roots with Mexican and Latin American art, resident DJs, live musicians, agave-focused drinks, and a large restaurant and bar lineup.
What Will the New Amàre Cancún Be Like?
The resort will occupy two neighboring towers in the Hotel Zone.
The main building will rise 20 stories, while the second tower will have six stories. Both will have rooftop pools, giving you views toward the Caribbean Sea and Nichupté Lagoon from above Boulevard Kukulcán.
There will be 429 suites, and Amàre says 97 percent will offer ocean views.
The company is also highlighting the resort’s position inside a protected bay, where natural currents help preserve the beach and keep the water calm, clear, and largely free of sargassum during much of the year.
The Hotel Zone location puts you close to Cancun’s concentration of beaches, restaurants, nightlife, marinas, and boat trips, while Cancun International Airport is about 30 minutes away.
Two Rooftop Pools Above the Hotel Zone
The two rooftop pools will be among the resort’s biggest features.
One will top the 20-story main tower. The other will crown the six-story secondary building. Both will look across Cancun’s narrow Hotel Zone, with the Caribbean on one side and Nichupté Lagoon on the other.
The rooftops will also serve as event venues, giving weddings and private groups elevated areas beyond the resort’s ballroom and other event facilities.
Amàre has made rooftop venues a major part of its hotels in Spain, particularly at its properties in Marbella, Ibiza, and Sancti Petri. Cancun will bring the idea to two separate buildings within the same resort.
The resort has not yet released the complete programming for the rooftop areas, leaving details on individual bars, menus, and entertainment to come closer to opening.
429 Suites, From Lagoon Views to Oceanfront Rooms
Amàre Cancún will welcome travelers 18 and older, with accommodations ranging from lagoon-view Junior Suites to oceanfront rooms in The One and The One Club resort-within-a-resort-style concepts.
The entry-level options include 1 King Bed Junior Suite Laguna View and 2 Double Beds Junior Suite Laguna Viewcategories, both with balconies, terraces, and tables with chairs. The king version accommodates two adults, while the double-bed version accommodates as many as three.
Ocean-view Junior Suites will also come with either one king bed or two double beds, giving you another choice before stepping up to the resort’s oceanfront categories.
The One 1 King Bed Junior Suite Ocean Front and The One 2 Double Junior Suite Ocean Front bring you directly toward the Caribbean, while the The One Club categories add jetted tubs.
Upper-floor oceanfront options will include The One Club 1 King Junior Suite Upper Ocean Front and The One Club 2 Double Junior Suite Upper Ocean Front, putting those rooms higher in the tower.
At the top of the current room list is The One 1 King Master Suite Ocean Front, which sleeps two and adds a separate living area, jetted tub, and dual vanity.
The range gives couples several choices among lagoon views, ocean views, and direct oceanfront accommodations inside the adults-only property.
Seven Restaurants, Nine Bars, and a Tequila Curator
Food and drinks will occupy a large part of the resort.
Amàre Cancún will have seven restaurants and nine bars, along with 24-hour room service and a dedicated coffee experience.
The culinary program will pair Mediterranean techniques with Mexican and Latin American ingredients.
A dedicated mezcal and tequila curator will oversee part of the beverage program, giving Mexico’s agave spirits a prominent role across the hotel.
The company has not yet announced the individual restaurant names or full menus, although it says chefs will bring Latin American influences to the food program.
With seven restaurants and nine bars, you will have 16 separate food and drink venues across the property before room service is included.
The large lineup gives you enough choices for a longer all-inclusive stay, particularly if you plan to spend several days at the resort rather than treating the hotel simply as a base for Cancun excursions.
Mexican Art Throughout the Resort
The interiors will feature work from contemporary Mexican and Latin American artists.
Rotating exhibitions are planned for elevators, hallways, and public areas throughout the property.
Artwork will appear across the hotel rather than being confined to a dedicated gallery.
Amàre has not yet announced the participating artists, leaving another group of names to be revealed before Oct. 31.
The program will give the Spanish brand a direct connection to Mexico and Latin America throughout the guest areas, alongside the local influences planned for the restaurant and bar program.
Resident DJs and Live Musicians
Music will be another major part of the hotel.
Resident DJs and live musicians will perform throughout the property, with programming ranging from tropical house to acoustic sets.
The company is planning music across different parts of the resort instead of relying on one principal entertainment venue.
Amàre’s hotels in Spain already use DJs and live performances across pools, rooftops, and social areas, and the Cancun property will continue the approach in a much larger all-inclusive resort.
Specific performers and event calendars have not yet been announced.
Inside the Nine-Room Spa
The spa will have nine treatment rooms and use products from Germaine de Capuccini.
A full-service fitness center will join the spa, along with a hair salon and nail salon.
There will also be a dedicated bridal suite, connecting the wellness facilities with the hotel’s weddings and celebrations program.
The company has not yet released the treatment menu or spa prices.
The nine treatment rooms add another substantial element to a resort whose public areas will already include two rooftops, 16 restaurant and bar venues, art exhibitions, and live music.
Nearly 10,000 Square Feet for Events
Amàre Cancún will have close to 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event areas.
The largest venue will be a 7,600-square-foot ballroom.
The resort will also use both rooftop venues for events, giving wedding groups and private functions views toward the Caribbean Sea and Nichupté Lagoon.
The bridal suite, hair and nail salon, ballroom, rooftops, restaurants, and bars give the property several options for adult celebrations and group trips.
The adults-only policy applies throughout the hotel, with guests required to be 18 or older.
Why Amàre Chose Cancun for Its Americas Debut
Amàre has spent nearly a decade operating adults-only hotels in Spain.
Its properties in Marbella, Ibiza, and Sancti Petri have centered on beachfront stays, rooftop venues, cocktails, music, contemporary interiors, and adults-focused hotel experiences.
Cancun gives the company a very different market.
The Mexican Caribbean has one of the world’s largest collections of all-inclusive resorts, with a deep selection of adults-only properties across Cancun, Playa Mujeres, Costa Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, and the Riviera Maya.
Amàre will enter the category with its Spanish identity while adding Mexican art, agave spirits, Latin American food influences, and a beachfront address in the Hotel Zone.
Its affiliation with Curio by Hilton also places the resort inside Hilton’s global reservations and loyalty network from opening day.
The resort will participate in Hilton Honors, allowing members to earn and redeem points during stays.
The Beachfront Address on Boulevard Kukulcán
Amàre Cancún will open directly along Boulevard Kukulcán, the main corridor through Cancun’s Hotel Zone.
The resort says its position within a protected bay helps keep the water calm and clear while reducing sargassum during much of the year.
The Hotel Zone gives you a long list of nearby Cancun experiences, from marinas and boat trips to restaurants, nightlife, and excursions elsewhere in Quintana Roo.
Cancun International Airport is about 30 minutes from the resort, making the hotel relatively easy to pair with nonstop and connecting flights from major cities across the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Europe.
The resort’s location also places you between the Caribbean and Nichupté Lagoon, a geographic feature you will see most dramatically from the two rooftop pools.
What Will Rooms Cost?
Hilton is already showing rates for stays beginning Oct. 31, giving travelers an early picture of what the new adults-only all-inclusive will cost.
For a three-night stay from Oct. 31 through Nov. 3, the lowest currently displayed rate is about $315 per night including taxes for a 1 King Bed Junior Suite with a lagoon view, according to what we found on the Hilton website.
A 1 King Bed Junior Suite Ocean View starts around $409 per night, while the comparable room with two double beds begins around $425 per night.
The oceanfront categories start with The One 1 King Bed Junior Suite Ocean Front at about $431 per night. The two-double-bed version starts around $453 per night.
Move into The One Club and the rates climb again. A king oceanfront Junior Suite begins at about $474 per night, while the two-double-bed version starts around $496 per night.
Upper-floor oceanfront rooms currently begin at about $517 per night for one king bed and $539 per night for two doubles.
At the top of the current list, The One 1 King Master Suite Ocean Front starts around $766 per night, including taxes.
Rates can change according to travel dates, room category, occupancy, and available offers, but the current prices provide a useful early snapshot of the resort ahead of its debut.
Reservations Begin Oct. 31
Reservations are open now for stays beginning Oct. 31.
You will be able to reserve through Amàre, Hilton, the Hilton Honors app, or a preferred travel advisor.
Several important details remain to be announced before opening, including the names of the seven restaurants, the nine individual bar concepts, complete menus, participating artists, and entertainment calendars.
The confirmed numbers already give travelers plenty to consider: 429 suites, two rooftop pools, seven restaurants, nine bars, nine spa treatment rooms, a 7,600-square-foot ballroom, nearly 10,000 square feet of event areas, and ocean views from 97 percent of the accommodations.
Rooms currently start around $315 per night including taxes for opening dates, with ocean-view rooms from about $409 and oceanfront categories from about $431.
On Oct. 31, the Amàre Cancún Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton is scheduled to welcome its first guests, giving the Spanish adults-only brand its first hotel in the Americas.
