Megan Thee Stallion Becomes Label Boss With Interscope Distribution Deal

This post was originally published on this site.

Megan Thee Stallion just locked in a distribution partnership with Interscope that positions her as a full-fledged label boss controlling her own empire.

The deal keeps her completely independent while giving her access to one of the industry’s biggest distribution networks, and it’s the perfect setup for what’s coming next.

She’s partnering with Roc Nation to make this happen, which means she’s got serious backing from multiple power players.

“Everything I’ve built has been about trusting my vision, owning my power, and never putting a ceiling on how far I can go. And now? We going HIGHER. I can’t wait for this next chapter with my new Interscope family!! I’m forever grateful!!! ACT III IS ON THEE WAY HOTTIES,” Megan Thee Stallion said.

What makes this move different from typical label deals is that Meg’s keeping ownership of her masters and maintaining full creative control. She’s not signing away her catalog or her future.

Desiree Perez, CEO of Roc Nation, made it clear in a statement that this is about long-term vision.

“Megan has always approached her career with a focus on ownership, creative freedom and long-term impact,” Perez said. “The ability to maintain her independence and own her masters is a testament to the vision that has guided her career from the beginning.”

Steve Berman, Vice Chairman of Interscope Capitol, added that the label sees exactly what everyone else sees.

“From the moment Megan emerged, it was clear she was a singular artist with an unmistakable voice and an extraordinary ability to shape culture on her own terms,” he said.

This isn’t just distribution talk. This is recognition that she’s operating on a different level entirely.

The timing lines up perfectly with her next album era. Megan’s been teasing her upcoming project ACT III, calling it a full reintroduction to her Tina Snow alter ego.

She’s been clear that Tina’s grown now, and she’s got stories to tell.

During an appearance on IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson, she mentioned having collaborations lined up that fans have been asking for, as well as some that’ll catch people off guard.

She’s not just dropping music. She’s building something bigger.

This follows her 2024 distribution deal with Warner Music Group, which also allowed her to remain independent while accessing major-label resources.

But this Interscope move shows she’s leveling up even further, shopping around to find the best fit for each era.

The ACT III album is expected to drop in 2026, and with this infrastructure in place, she’s ready to execute on her vision without compromise.
