48-hour curfew imposed in sections of Hanover

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of the Mount Peace district in the Hanover Police Division.

The curfew will begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 25, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 27.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

NORTH – Along an imaginary line from Claremont Square to Mount Peace playfield.

EAST – Along an imaginary line from Mount Peace playfield to the back of Clifton district.

SOUTH – Along an imaginary line from the back of Clifton district to Clifton Primary School.

WEST – Along an imaginary line from Clifton Primary School to Claremont Square.

During the hours of the curfew, individuals within the boundaries are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
