Kanye West just wrapped up a major legal headache after his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta agreed to settle their contentious lawsuit.
The settlement ends a battle that started in June 2024 when Pisciotta first sued for sexual harassment and wrongful termination, then escalated in 2025 when she filed amended complaints alleging sex trafficking, rape, and stalking.
Details of what they agreed to stay locked down, but the courtroom drama is officially finished, and dismissal paperwork will be filed within 45 days.
Pisciotta’s allegations during her time working for him from 2021 to 2023 were intense and detailed.
She claimed he sent her explicit sexual messages and videos, masturbated in front of her at a hotel, and allegedly drugged her at a studio session.
Her amended filings went harder, accusing him of oral rape and attempting to penetrate her without consent.
She also alleged he exposed employees to antisemitic rhetoric and demanded they draw swastikas in the workplace.
His team fired back, calling her claims “fantasy fiction” and “tall tales,” insisting they’d “annihilate” her testimony before a jury. They claimed she was terminated for being unqualified and demanding unreasonable money.
The situation got darker after she filed her original complaint.
She became a target of swatting attacks with armed police raiding her Florida home after someone falsely reported she’d killed her mother.
She received threatening calls warning her not to pursue the lawsuit. Her attorney told the BBC she’s been living in hiding, terrified and isolated, having deleted most of her online presence to escape the pressure.
Meanwhile, Kanye has been mounting a serious comeback throughout 2026, with sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in April, followed by an international tour with performances in Mexico, South Korea, China, and Europe.
Unfortunatley for Kanye, this isn’t his only legal problem either.
Model Jenn An sued him in 2026, alleging he sexually assaulted her on a music video set in 2010, claiming he yelled “This is art, I’m Picasso” during the alleged assault.
