Stefon Diggs Wins Major Victory As Judge Demands Accuser’s Evidence

Stefon Diggs is facing mounting legal pressure as his battle with accuser Christopher Griffith intensifies through court-ordered discovery demands that are forcing both sides to reveal their evidence.

The NFL star’s legal team just won a major procedural victory when a judge ordered Griffith to hand over every direct message he’s exchanged with Diggs on Instagram within the next two weeks, along with comprehensive documentation of his travel to Maryland during the alleged incident.

This escalation marks a critical turning point in a case that’s been building since late 2025.

The underlying dispute centers on events from May 2023 at Diggs’ Maryland residence, where Griffith claims the athlete drugged him with candy before making unwanted sexual advances that included pulling out his penis and attempting to kiss him.

Griffith alleges that when he rejected Diggs’ advances, the NFL star’s brother Darez and associates physically assaulted him a week later in an effort to silence him.

Diggs has categorically denied all allegations and filed a defamation lawsuit against Griffith, arguing that the influencer fabricated the entire story to damage his reputation and career.

Griffith responded by filing a counterclaim alleging sexual assault, battery, and conspiracy.

The legal maneuvering has become increasingly contentious, with the court denying Diggs’ request for sanctions against Griffith. The discovery process is now forcing both parties to produce evidence that could prove decisive in determining the case’s outcome.

The situation took an unexpected turn when Cardi B, Diggs’ on-and-off partner and mother of his child, publicly defended him.

She called Griffith a “light skin albino lizard” and claimed he’d changed his story multiple times to gain traction online. Cardi expressed frustration at having to defend someone she’s currently in conflict with, but said she couldn’t ignore what she viewed as false allegations.

Griffith responded by asking Cardi to “take off the blinders,” suggesting she was being manipulated by Diggs.

Adding another layer to the conflict, Griffith settled a separate $10 million lawsuit against Darez Diggs, Stefon’s brother, after claiming he was beaten and robbed of $100,000 in Los Angeles.

The settlement details remain confidential.
