St Catherine North records 43 per cent decline in murders, lowest in 30 years

The St Catherine North Police Division is recording a significant decline in murders, with Senior Superintendent of Police Hopeton Nicholson describing the development as a sign of improved safety and security. Nicholson, who heads the St Catherine North Division, said the area has recorded a 43 per cent reduction in murders, representing the lowest number of killings recorded since the division was established 30 years ago.
